Supression orders

This list relates only to suppression orders made by the Court.   There are also statutory provisions which operate to prohibit the publication of material relating to particular categories of proceeding without the need for a court order.

Journalists intending to publish details of cases in which a non-publication order may have been made should make their own enquiries by searching the Court file (if available) or contacting the Public Relations Officer (NT Courts and Tribunals).
