The Honourable Lawrence Eric Clarke

Lawrence Clarke served as acting Justice of the Supreme Court of the Northern Territory in 1960.

Justice Clarke graduated from the University of Adelaide and served in the Australian Imperial Forces in Sinai from 1915 to 1918.

Justice Clarke was admitted to the South Australian Bar in 1920 and was Deputy Registrar of Probates for South Australia from 1930 to 1934. Justice Clarke was appointed as a Magistrate in 1934 and was Chief Legal Officer for South Australia.

Justice Clarke was the Chief Stipendiary Magistrate of the Adelaide Police Court from 1950 to 1965.
