The Honourable Robert James Anning Franki

Robert Franki served as an additional Justice of the Supreme Court of the Northern Territory from 1972 - 1986.

Justice Franki graduated with a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Science from the University of Sydney.

Justice Franki was admitted to the New South Wales Bar in 1945 and appointed as a Queens Counsel in 1963.

Justice Franki was a Presidential Member of the Commonwealth Conciliation and Arbitration Commission from 1969 - 1972, Chairman of the Designs Law Review Committee from 1970 - 1973 and Chairman of the Copyright Law Committee on Reprographic Reproduction from 1974 - 1976.

Justice Franki was Deputy President of the Trade Practices Tribunal from 1972 - 1977 and was appointed as a Justice of the Australian Industrial Court and Justice of the Supreme Court of the Australian Capital Territory in 1972.

Justice Franki was appointed as a Justice of the Federal Court of Australia in 1977.
